Geographic Routing for Wireless Sensor Networks
Objective To develop more efficient routing protocols addressing the major limitations of wireless sensors (memory and battery), as well as the challenges of geographic routing algorithms. Results We have developed two algorithms that address these two issues respectively: Greedy Distributed Spanning Tree Routing (GDSTR) to route packets successfully given any topology and Greedy Embedding Spring Co-ordinates (GSpring) for determining co-ordinates of node location reflecting an environment’s topology. |
